Emanation Series
The Dojo
Emanation is a Chicago based music collective that features a live bi-monthly music series at The White Room here in town. Every other month, these musicians and music fans come together to share and support new and original ideas. This eclectic series gives a medium for chamber music projects - a rock band's side project, a percussion duo, an electronic music ensemble, an improving noise quartet, solo loop artists and many other examples of brilliant, creative projects. Emanation is hosted and curated by Thomas Benko, Colin Campbell and Shawn Rios.

The Dojo is an art and music collective focused on providing a friendly and creative space for collaboration, self-expression and communication. The Dojo hosts multiple events each month at their space in the Pilsen neighborhood of Chicago including its monthly series Dojo Media Night which screens new and old work from emerging and seasoned filmmakers, photographers, videographers, and media producers. This will be The Dojo's 2nd event outside of its gallery and basement walls.
